Oskar Zambrano

Community Engagement

Oskar Zambrano is a nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit advocacy sector. He is the founder and CEO of Somos Más, a consulting firm that helps nonprofits and political candidates advance their advocacy and political goals. He is also the co-founder of Cocone Yoli, a nonprofit organization that supports children in Puebla, Mexico, with social and educational services.

He is skilled in nonprofit management, public policy, diverse coalition building, civic empowerment, leadership development, and cultural competency strategic planning. He is passionate about creating systems change with an equity lens and amplifying the voices of communities of color for a more inclusive and diverse environmental justice movement. He currently serves as a board member and secretary at Washington Conservation Action and Washington Non-profits Association, where he contributes to the policy and development committees.
